About Mr. Ours

Since 2014, Mr. Ours has been dragging his fur coat across genres without ever letting one box him in. Based in Montpellier, he built a reputation as a flagbearer of French-style electro hip-hop: funk in the hips, hip-hop in the head, bass everywhere else. His signature is that permanent crossover, a way of making things coexist that were never supposed to meet.

His playground stretches far beyond a single BPM. Glitch Hop, Dubstep, Bass House, remixes that flip 90s classics: the Mr. Ours catalogue casts a wide net and owns it. Signed to US label Gravitas Recordings, where he released the album Ethnic Parallel, he also keeps his Bandcamp fed with a steady stream of remix packs and collaborations.

For this episode 006, he rolls out 1h17 built for movement. The set opens on UK Garage, tips over into Drum & Bass, then goes back for the broken edges of Glitch Hop. No dead air, and plenty of grinning behind the decks.
